The challenge
A technician in the field, hands full, doesn’t want to fill long forms on a phone. The challenge was to make data entry as close to zero effort as possible, while keeping a rigorous structure underneath: clients, equipment, services, pricing and auto-generated quotes.
The approach
A React Native / Expo app with voice entry: the technician dictates, and a Claude model extracts the client, the problem, the services and the quote line items, with a confidence score and warnings. Behind it, a NestJS API with Prisma/PostgreSQL, multi-tenant at every layer, plus a web panel for dispatchers and management.
